VENUES CLOSING - RAIN OR OTHER REASONS
When your home field is about to close for any reason, RAIN, being the most common reason, your main responsibility, is to insure that the visiting team DOES NOT drive to your venue, when the venue will not be playable. Referees will also be watching the venues page.
Contact your opponent.
Click Edit... IN ALL CAPS change OPEN to CLOSED
Click Update
Once a venue is closed - the venue must remain closed the rest of the day.
TO RE-OPEN A CLOSED VENUE
Follow the instructions above - then enter OPEN.
RAINED OUT GAMES - RESCHEDULE
To reschedule a game that was rained out on any of the following dates:
March 17th, March 18th, March 25th.
Only complete Form B after both teams have agreed to a new date, time and venue. (There is no charge for this reschedule) Do NOT complete Form A.
To view if a venue has room for your proposed game, date, and time, Click on Schedules, on the right after all the teams ages B-8 etc...there is an All button. Click All. That will bring you to a drop down menue of venues. Find and click the venue you want, highlight it and click it. That will bring you to the schedule for that venue. There you will view the open time slots available.
Time is running out to get these games back on the schedule.

SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUEST
SCHEDULE CHANGES / GAME CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULE GAMES
Spring Soccer will NEVER randomly remove a game from the schedule or change any scheduled game. All schedule changes will have been requested by teams. (or in the case of a field closure)
As a courtesy, please contact your opponent by phone or email to let them know that a game is being taken from the schedule.
All schedule change requests must be completed using the Schedule Change Request Form A.
https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=WitibaQ-YI9KWjs6RsiCKA This form is used to remove the game from the schedule. Either to Cancel or Reschedule the game. Reminder, there is a schedule game change fee of a maximum of $75 per schedule request. as has been for the past nine years. The Schedule Change Form is the ONLY way we can accept a schedule change request.
It is impossible to track a schedule change request in any other format. This form can be located @ http://www.SpringSoccer.org - Click on Forms.
All Schedule Change Requests / cancel games must be submitted previous to Wednesday - 6:00 P.M. for Saturday Games and Thursday 6:00 P.M. for Sunday games to avoid a potential referee payment charge.
AS A COURTESY - please notify the other team immediately by phone and email of any game you are changing for any reason. Then together with the other team, you can decide when you want to make up the game and let us know. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is to GET THE GAME OFF THE SCHEDULE SO YOU ARE NOT CHARGED REFEREE FEES.
We are constantly monitoring the Schedule Change request forms so we can make fast postings when necessary.
When both teams agree on a new date, time, and location, complete Schedule Change Request Form B
GAMES ADDED TO SCHEDULES
No games will be added to the schedules after Wednesday for Saturday and Thursday for Sunday - 9:00 P.M.
Exception, Games will be added that both teams have agreed to by way of Form B. If both teams agree we will do everything we can to add a game as late as possible and still get referees there.
We always take care of getting the referees to the game.
RED CARDS
RED CARDS
When reporting scores, there is a section to complete for Red Card information.
Referees have been instructed to NOT pull the player pass (card) with Red Cards. Any player / coach receiving a red card will have a two game suspension. A second Red Card and the player / coach may be gone for the season - including Spring Cup.
Referees will only pull the player pass (card) for Violent Conduct or Referee Assault and send all reports to Cal South. This player will be out for the season. There may be future penalties from Cal South. There are no hearings scheduled by Spring Soccer at this time.
This is Spring Soccer and will have no impact on your teams World Standings. PLEASE - ABSOLUTELY NO CHEATING.... Spring Soccer is about honesty and trusting people to do the right thing.
