Tournament Refund Checks

If you sent in a check for the November Tournament, it will be returned this week. None of the checks have been cashed.


Plus Tournament Cancelled!

Mother Nature has struck again. Many fields have been closed in Areas K, L, and Q, causing a reschedule of Area games to Dec 15 and 16. Accordingly, the Plus Tournament will have to be be cancelled due to lack of field resources next weekend. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Refunds will be processed and returned.
We will finalize the league standings and contact teams about medals distribution this week.
Our thanks to the Area Directors, Tony DeGiglio, Jim Rosenberg, and John Conners for their hard work in putting together the Plus program this year. Special thanks to Lee Eichenbaum, who managed the Plus Tournament, Cathy White, Area Q scheduler, and Rob McAuley, Area Q Referee Administrator for the extra effort!


Tournament Update

The 2007 AYSO Plus Tournament has been moved to December 15 and 16. Information will be posted on how to confirm your registration. Please note: Areas K, L, and Q will host League Championship Games this weekend. Postponement of these games due to rain will impact the availability of fields for the Plus Tournament on December 15 and 16.


U11-14 Plus Tournament: New Date Set

After reviewing field and referee resources, the tournament will be rescheduled for Dec 15 and 16. Please follow the guidelines set forth in the notice you received from the Tournament Director.


U11-U14 Plus Tournament Postponed!

Due to field closures for Saturday and Sunday, the U11-14 Plus Tournament for Dec 1/2 has been postponed. There will be no games played for this tournament this weekend. The tentative back up dates will be Dec 8/9, depending upon on field availability. More info to be posted. Coaches, enjoy the weekend off, you know it will be sunny!

PLEASE NOTE:This notice only applies to U11-U14 Plus. If you are participating in Mayors Cups, U10, and regional playoffs, please contact your administrator on the status of your games.

Welcome to the 2007 AYSO Section 11 Plus Tournament, sponsored by Area Q. Please note the check-in procedures below. Every field will have a marshal to assist you on the check-in.

Tournament Check-in procedures
CHECK IN PROCEDURE U11 – U14 AYSO+ ’07 TOURNAMENT

Team Check-in Procedures

• All teams must check-in at the AYSO+ TOURNAMENT HQ TENT AT THE LOCATION OF THEIR FIRST GAME. Teams must check-in a minimum of one (1) hour prior to the team's first game.

• Coaches must present the following (NO EXCEPTIONS):

a. Four (4) completed game cards with all rostered players listed in numerical order.

b. AYSO ID card for each player and for two (2) coaches per team. These ID cards MUST be signed by the RC and be laminated or NO participation in the tournament.

• Coaches must wear ID cards visibly on their person during all games. Cards may be clipped on jackets or shirts, or worn on neck lanyards.

• The field marshal will compare all 4 completed game cards and ID cards to the team roster on file. If a player does not appear on the team roster, they will not be allowed to participate. If a player is not present at the initial check in, their name will be highlighted on ALL game cards. These players must check in later (see Late Check-in Procedure) to be eligible to play. The field marshal also will line-out any blank player lines on the game cards. The field marshal will approve each game card by initialing the bottom of card with a colored pen.

• The field marshal will highlight in yellow on the Team’s roster in the files any players that did not check-in. These names should match the highlighted players on the game cards.

• It is the responsibility of the coach to have a Player Registration form for each participant. These will be checked only in cases of questions about player eligibility.

• After the check in process is completed, all four (4) game cards will be returned to the coach.

• The referees or field marshal will perform a safety inspection at the fields before the games are played.

• ID cards for all players and coaches and an approved game card shall be presented to the Referee by each team prior to the start of each AYSO PLUS tournament match.

• NOTE: The Tournament Director or designated representative(s) will rule on any issue related to player eligibility. Any such decision is to be considered final and not subject to protest, dispute or further discussion.

Late Player Check-in Procedures

• If a player misses the team check-in, he/she must check-in at the AYSO+ TOURNAMENT HQ TENT AT THE LOCATION OF THE FIRST GAME IN WHICH THEY WILL PARTICIPATE. Any player unable to check-in and be verified for whatever reason will have his/her name highlighted on the game card and will be ineligible to play in any game until he/she has been properly checked-in.

• Unchecked-in player(s), accompanied by the Coach or Asst. Coach must present the following:

a. All remaining game cards

b. AYSO ID card for the player(s) checking in late.

• Using a colored pen, the field marshal will initial next to the player’s name on each of the remaining game cards.

• The field marshal will initial next to the highlighted player(s) name(s) that just checked-in, on the filed team’s roster.

• The field marshal will return the game cards back to the coach or assistant coach.

• NOTE: The Tournament Director or designated representative(s) will rule on any issue related to player eligibility. Any such decision is to be considered final and not subject to protest, dispute or further discussion.




How to View Schedules

TO VIEW TEAM SCHEDULES

To view all teams in your Age, click Teams then Age.
To view only your Team games, click Teams, click Age, Click your team.
To view all games in your Age, click Schedules, click Age.
To view standings click Standings, click Age.
To view only your Teams scores, click Teams, click Age, Click your team.
To view all scores in your Age, click Schedules, click Age.
To view all information relating to Ladera Rench, click Homepage.



HOW TO REPORT SCORES

To report score, click on schedules, age, report score.
Follow instructions in the report score window.
Do not press back. Your score will be reported in "Real" time.
Remember to press "Reload" or "Refresh" after posting scores.
The "report score" command will not be available until the day of the game.
Please contact your local Region for password.



WRONG SCORE POSTED

If a wrong score has been posted:
1) Contact by e-mail your local scheduler.
2) E-mail: The new (corrected) scores.
The e-mail must contain the following in order.
a) Age/Gender of Team.
b) Game number.
c) Goals of home team. (home team is first team on the schedule)
d) Goals of visiting team.
e) Name and position on team, of person requesting change.
