IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Playoff Schedule is now posted.

Playoff Schedule is still being worked on. Remember for divisions 3 – 6U playoffs will be held on December 5th and December 12th. In the event of any playoff rainouts they will be played on December 19th.

Special Note: As necessary to accommodate field and time constraints the preliminary playoff games ending in a tie will bypass the overtime periods and immediately proceed to “Kicks from the Penalty Mark”.

An “Overtime Period” are to be played only in games ending in a tie during the final games (Presidents Cup and Memorial Cup) as directed by the referee.

If the game is still tied at the end of the overtime period, the outcome of the game shall be determined by “Kicks from the Penalty Mark”.

FALL 2009 SCHEDULES

Coaches welcome to the start of another year of soccer with LBYSO.

REMINDERS FOR THE FIRST GAME AND LAST GAME OF THE DAY:
1. HOME TEAMS SET UP GOAL POST AND NETS FOR THE 1ST GAME OF THE DAY.
2. VISITOR TEAMS LINE FIELD FOR 1ST GAME OF THE DAY. (NEEDS TO BE DONE EVERY WEEK EVEN IF YOU DO NOT THINK IT IS NEEDED.)
3. HOME AND VISITOR TEAMS FOR LAST GAME OF THE DAY TAKE FIELD DOWN AND PUT ALL FIELD EQUIPMENT IN THE PROPER STORAGE CONTAINER.

To verify if you are the first game or the last game of the day follow these instructions.
On the front page hit "Schedules" then select "All" then sort by "Field" on top of the page.
You should now be able to view all games played for a specific day and location to determine if you have setup or takedown responsibility.
Any team failing to do this will be discussed by the board.

How to View Schedules

TO VIEW TEAM SCHEDULES

To view all teams in your Age, click Teams then Age.
To view only your Team games, click Teams, click Age, Click your team.
To view all games in your Age, click Schedules, click Age.
To view standings click Standings, click Age.
To view only your Teams scores, click Teams, click Age, Click your team.
To view all scores in your Age, click Schedules, click Age.
To view all information relating to the Long Beach Youth Soccer Organization, click Homepage.

HOW TO REPORT SCORES

To report score, click on schedules, age, report score.
Follow instructions in the report score window.
Do not press back. Your score will be reported in "Real" time.
Remember to press "Reload" or "Refresh" after posting scores.
The "report score" command will not be available until the day of the game.
Please contact your local Region for password.

WRONG SCORE POSTED

If a wrong score has been posted:
1) Contact by e-mail your local scheduler.
2) E-mail: The new (corrected) scores.
The e-mail must contain the following in order.
a) Age/Gender of Team.
b) Game number.
c) Goals of home team. (home team is first team on the schedule)
d) Goals of visiting team.
e) Name and position on team, of person requesting change.
